Thx for the tip on the D connectors. And thx to Kelly for the Webco aftermarket plate! Good seein' you and the garage full of toys. Still have the other 2 plates comin' but after a short round with a 3 lb sledge, the Webco fit. Just need a D connector or two. Getting the locals to drag their vintage...

Nicely done, Kelly. I've used the Baja NP on several bikes and it will handle some stiff sidewalls with ease. The install on the rear Wombat last weekend was a breeze just like your video.

Thx Kelly and Rick. Kelly has a Webco I'll look at. Bought the one you linked, Rick and might grab one from BikeBoneYard off a Road Toad. See what the best fit/attachment is and go from there.

Based on the schematic and asking a few folks, there is no stock skid plate for the bike. A Road Toad plate workaround was suggested and I've seen a few '76 plates on ebay but mine doesn't have tabs to bolt to for that plate. Yeah, I could make one out of something but would like to stick with a Hod...

My wife always tells me if she had to "prepare" the food she likes to eat, it would make her a vegetarian. Good prank and I bet a few of those folks didn't eat meat for a while.

I used Apple Cider Vinegar straight. Works best if it sits for a week but I did 2 days and got most of the rust out of the Wombat tank. Cheap, too.

Meant to be ridden in crosswinds.

I got the seat cover installed, carb cleaned - but it will be a do over once I get more internals in. Tank cleaned out of the little bit of dirt in it and my clean up and align project, the petcocks.
