For the first time, we have to fly up to Hodaka days, not drive. Of course, I found a Washington Hodaka to buy.
Seller can drop the bike off at Hodaka Days… Is there anyone out there that can haul the bike closer to Texas?
Time is not a concern, and I will kick in for your gas money.
If I can get the bike a few states closer, then shipping to Texas (Austin) will be a little more affordable. California or the Southwest would work great, but anywhere closer than WA is an improvement.
It’s a modified Super Combat, intact and not crusty (and not a museum bike that needs special handling).
Help me out, and I can send you some cool Hodaka junk too!
Thanks,
Laurie

That's the one. We settled on a price, now I just have to figure out how to get the bike down here!

Maybe the Texas boys could help you out, you know the one Greg and Diane build the bikes for? They have that big rig they bring.

Good idea Kelly - I don't know who those guys are (Texas is a big state! ) but I'll give Greg a call and see if I can get some contact info for them

The Hodaka community is really good about helping out, but just in case, Jose took my DR650 to it's new owner in Portland. Professional, on time, map link to his location updated constantly......just a great former Marine making a go of it.
