Re: Super Rat Tires Question

On my 98 restoration, I put Kings on it because in my opinion they were the closest looking as the Nitto. I don't know how good they would be for actual riding, they have been sitting around for a long time. They gotta be like a rock! I found a 410 x 18 put it on to see if it would fit and it did. A...

Re: Off to the Local Car/Bike Show.

Ya it is fun going to shows and showing off your accomplishment. I wish I had a $1 for everyone who walks up to you and says "I had one of those when I was a kid". Brings back memories. Its kind of neat that there is more and more dirt bikes in the shows.

Re: Baby Ceriani Parts

Max
seems like we are on the same page about the forks. I will probably go back to the originals. Save the Ceriani's for another project or pawn them off. I ride street bikes around your part of the country. If you welcome visitors I may stop by sometime.

Re: Baby Ceriani Parts

I forgot to put in my original post the tubes measure 30mm on these. I tried to do some research online but didn't realize how many versions there were.

Re: Baby Ceriani Parts

I also have Ceriani forks that I was thinking about putting on a Model 93. It needs some cleaning up but my big problem is I haven't come up with a solution on how to mount a front fender on it. Plus the fork stops don't line up with the frame stops which is really no big deal. The more I look at it...

Re: New to Hodakas!!!

Kinda funny a few of you are from Kansas...These bikes are coming from Wellsville, KS. The seller is meeting me next Sunday at a Hare Scramble I'll be racing at anyways that's in southwest Iowa. What I amazed about is what has been sitting in peoples garages for years and just by chance somehow one...

Re: New to Hodakas!!!

Aaron I live down the road from McPherson College. It's a pretty cool college! A lot of guys that go to school there sound like they have the same outlook as you. Every year they have 1 or 2 car/bike shows, people from all over come to it (like Jay Leno). It is pretty cool to see the young and the o...

98 Super Rat What do you think?

IMG_0698.JPG IMG_0702.JPG IMG_0699.JPG What do you guys think? This was my first restoration job. I didn't have a clue what I was doing. All comments welcomed. I want to get it as original as I can. Thanks for Strictly Hodaka and Hodaka- Parts for keeping parts for us. Also my local hero Phil Ketch...

Re: 98 Wiring Harness

Dug through my boxes of parts that I got with this bike and found plastic wire ties. They were white and had the #CE-140 stamped on them.
Everything was such a mess when I got it that I wasn't sure what went where or what was what. Here are pictures of what I found.

Re: 98 Wiring Harness

Ok Thanks. I know it sounds kind of silly about worrying about whats under the tank that you cant see, but I am trying to keep it as original as I can. I keep telling myself this project would be easier if I was just going to vintage race this thing. I wouldn't be concerned about such things. I am t...

98 Wiring Harness

I am trying to bring a '98 back from the dead and trying to put it back to as original as it can be. This might be a silly question, but I am not sure how the original wiring harness was mounted onto the frame. Any suggestions? Also, are these the original wire harnessing clips? Here are some pics. ...

Saw this on another website. Kind of cool! Now wishing I hadn't gotten rid of my extra motors.
