I would caution on powder coating fasteners as I have never heard of an OEM doing this. Powdered coating on threads will change the tolerances/clearances from there intended fit.

You simply need softer springs. Looks like you have dual rate rate springs - go with a single straight rate spring - maybe 90 lbs/inch? A shock shop should be able to measure what springs you have and make a recommendation.

www.deycore.com might have something in the range you are looking for.
