Hodaka trials bike?
Hodaka trials bike?
My late husband has what he said is an Hodaka trials bike that was awarded to an Indianapolis Hodaka dealership in the '70s and one of two manufactured and awarded to the top dealerships. I have had a friend of a friend look at it and he said it was set up as a trials bike and that if indeed was one of 2 manufactured it was a rare fine. It has been stored in a yard barn since I met my husband 16 years ago and he said it had been there for a lot of years before then. Any information anyone has would be appreciated. It was my husband's intention to restore and ride this bike but life has a way of getting in the way of projects.
Re: Hodaka trials bike?
It looks to be from the late 60's maybe early 70's. It is old school. It does look to have a Cotton tank on it, but one of two
that Hodaka made, I don't think so. It does look like they built it using some of the some of the ideas from a Hodaka Trials
building paper work. Pabatco made 5 prototype bull frog trials bikes but they used a different frame then the Hodaka frame.
Even though it isn't that rare it would be worth restoring.
