Condenser Connection

Making sure I’m doing this correctly.

I purchased an aftermarket condenser as recommended in my thread about after market condensers.

The only difference is this condenser has a wire coming off the top instead of a soldering location.

So, if I tinned all the wires which normally solder to the top of the OEM condenser, and I solder them all to a stripped end of the wire from the top of the condenser, I should have the same connection, Correct? :ugeek: Victor

That is correct - and you won't have any worries about over heating the condenser.

It’s a bit of a tight area to solder in, but I guess no more so than soldering on top of the old style condenser & no chance of having solder hit the outside of the condenser. :ugeek: Victor

Make sure you route the wire so it doesn't contact the rotor.

Check the timing and check for spark.
