Allow me to dog-pile on Gentleman Bruce, too. He and I worked a pretty good deal here in the woods of western Virginia, and we both (I think) came out at least somewhat happier for it. Yea, the deal took me into the far reaches of rural Virginia where I normally wouldn't go, but what an experience.

If you have one from another bike I think you could fabricate another rather easily. Might be considerably cheaper too and I wouldn't think it would be a critical part for a resto if you're cutting and grinding skills are relatively decent.
