tank medallions removal

Hello, I would like to remove a dent and paint my tank. Anyone have a good safe way to get the medallions off or know was used to put them on originally?

Usually installed with 100% silicon. Try cutting behind the badge with a piece of dental floss. It should cut right through.

fill the tank with hot water and let it sit a few minutes..you should be able to peel them off..if not use a piece of dental floss behind the emblem like Dale said
