Rod repair

Post by rtboone »

Is there any reliable way to repair a worn out wrist pin hole in a model 99 connecting rod? I suspect that a new rod kit is the only solution.

Thanks

If it's bad enough that the small end is worn out, pretty sure the big aint far behind. Better to renew it with a rod kit and be done with it. And while your at it, crank bearings are next on the list to do.
