So just got a call back. This guy is a BMW mechanic and has a name for being the go to guy for early bmw boxers . He bought a lot of 10 bikes I might add that are not in his possession, and 1 is a hodaha 175 and 1 is a 250 .they were pushed of the show room floor late 1970s and stored. Never been ran ,not prept at all .so he is looking for the best price that they will bring and he's going to put them on bring a trailer, I had a nice conversation with him I have no doubt as what he was saying he will give me a call when he receives them and I will check it out . As I said he wants top dollar for them so probably out of my price range. So that's the story stay tuned

I'm wondering what ever happened with this transaction. The only reason I'm writing this is because the crickets have been deafening in here for about 10 days.

thank you for getting me on the stick . been meaning to call this guy and well stuff happens BUT.... i did call him this morning and low and behold he didn't get them . got sold to somebody else. it sounds like when i was on our farm i wanted a snow plow for my truck and was looking around and the neighbor who was friendly enough but a little high strung said he had one he was going to give me " FOR FREE" i said oh no john i will give you $ 250 for it and well i still don't have a snow plow ....... albert
