Model 94 clutch
Model 94 clutch
Hello all, my project bike a model 94 needs a compleat clutch. I was wondering if a model 94 and 94A clutch were the only clutch assemblies that would fit. Thanks Gary
Re: Model 94 clutch
Most of the clutch components are the same for the Ace 100's and the Chrome tank Super Rats and the Chrome tank Dirt Squirt. The main difference is the clutch hub, part # 944012. If that part is in good condition, then the rest of the parts from an Ace 100, Super Rat or Chrome tank Dirt Squirt will work. If you look at a schematic online (hodaka-parts.com) you will see which parts are interchangable and which aren't. The part numbers that start with 90, 92 or 93 are intercangable, the ones that start with 94 and unique to the Wombat (and some later models).

If you just need a clutch kit, they use the same friction discs and plates. Here’s a link for a 94/94A clutch kit! Victor

Re: Model 94 clutch
Upon re-reading your post you say you need a complete clutch. You might check with Bruce at hodakapartsidaho.com and see if he has a good used one. He has a good supply of used parts and he might have what you need. Just a thought.
Re: Model 94 clutch
Gentlemen , Thank you very much for your advice.
dirty_rat thanks for pointing out the 94 prefix on the schematic.
If I cant get a complete clutch, it will be very helpful piecing one together.

Re: Model 94 clutch
Like Victor said. Consider updated clutch discs and plates that replaces old fiber discs and cools and lubricates better. All from Hodaka-Parts.com
