stubble field drags

Post by taber hodaka »

I think it would be fun to have stubble fields drags. They would show performance in a very safe way. Easy to set up with little effort, Ace 90, 100, 125 stock and modified. No jumps tight turns or mud bogs. Say 3, 10 foot lanes 10 feet apart for 800 feet just planting a seed?? Us old guys could do this safely? ----- Clarence

Just thinking?? hodaka only, lots of room for others to do ?? could be a small fee $10.00 pay Insurance?? split the rest between the club and first place finisher per class. My litttle 90 stock exhaust, could do a grudge match against some sporty super rat, same fee money all of it going to the Hodaka Club. Double elimations ++-- Clarence

Actually our old motorcycle club did this way long ago. Dirt field, short run, way under one-hundred yards. No classes, drag anyone or everybody you want. What fun, continuous two at a time start practice with a flagman. Bet I ran the XT-350 Yamaha through over a hundred times. Even bike trading going on. Big laughs. Everyone had a blast. Low re-cycle time, about a minute for your next run. A day well spent having motorcycle fun! Maxie
