No it is on ebay, it is not a reprint, price $24.99 . Located in, Conneaut Lake, Penn. 4 days 19 hours left, $16.10 shipping . It would be a great complete manual, including the Super Rat. --------------- Clarence

No because I don't know how. I am too old and don't care to learn. But if you learn my way it is easy. Go to ebay search for hodaka manuals . Under best match, manuals will come up, it is the third manual and it states that it covers the four models. it looks original. there are only 29 manuals listed I think. It is a good buy. -------------Clarence

Rylan,
Here is the e-bay item number 153443852831

When I did the search Clarence recommended, this manual was 4 or 5 items down the list. (the number of manuals up for bid changes all the time)

I have to admit that I'm a bit surprised that you didn't come up with this manual by searching on your smart phone with one thumb tied behind your back. ;)

Hi Rylan, just a bit of terminology review here so when we are discussing procedures we are all clear about the various parts you are working on. On your motorcycle, the entire generator which powers the ignition system is the magneto. The magneto is comprised of two main components. The flywheel (AKA rotor) so called because it rotates. Imbedded within the wall of the rotor are permanent magnets which induce an electric impulse as they pass the by the coils. The non-moving component of the magneto underneath the rotor where the coils, points, and condenser are mounted is called the "stator". Together they form a generator, or "magneto". Thus, the tool you're interested in is a "flywheel puller".

Rylan to find it on your own Search for Hodaka Parts INC. Click on tools is the left hand column and when the tools come up on the screen, the puller will be on about the fifth line down. It will also list all the models that it will fit. ------------- Clarence

While I am far FAAAAAAAARRRRRRR away from being an expert, I'm pretty sure I speak for the gang when I say that we are all happy to see a young man such as yourself discovering how cool these bikes are and how much fun it is to bring one back to life. Ask all the questions you want, Rylan. The real experts on here are not answering questions because they have to. They love these bikes as much as we do and happily dedicate a lot of time helping us get them running again. I'm not sure we thank them enough.
