The Allegheny National Forest trail ride will be September 1. The base of operations will be the Monroe Heights (formerly the Mictotel) in Marienville, Pa. On Friday, August 31, there will be (if enough interest) the ANF road ride. It will leave Monroe Heights at 2 p.m. and is for street legal bikes. 90% of the roads will be National Forest and township roads and will be suited for the smaller 90 and 100cc bikes. The ride will be roughly 60 miles, with a gas stop half way, so we can take tally of all the parts that fell off. Another stop will be the site of a former WWII German prisoner of war camp.
