Punishment for Hodaka Thieves

Post by Joe Ormonde »

Just what would a good, but still humane punishment for a Hodaka thief be? The one I came up with is this: Every morning when the thief wakes up, he or she must apply a Hodaka logo on their forehead. Then they take a selfie and email it to the local Police Station. If they don`t,they get picked up and put in jail for 30 days. What would your humane punishment be? Joe Ormonde.

Would having "Its a Boogie Machine" branded on their foreheads be considered inhumane? I really don't know.

Joe, make sure that the selfie includes that day's paper in the shot as proof that the shots are being taken every day.

I can think of a lot of ideas, but the first fellow in my recent case got 8 months in the county brig.

Years ago, Knott`s Berry Farm in Buena park had a Chicken in a cage. You would drop a dime in the coin slot and it would tap a bell. That Chicken got up and pecked on a little piano and if it did it correctly, it got fed. We could find that little piano, put it in the Jail cell and he could feed himself. Tap tap tap and a single Coco Puff would drop into the tray! After about 5 hours of tapping on that little Piano, he would have a cup or so to eat: IF he was as smart as that Chicken. He figured out how to steal that Hodaka; let that thief figure out how to play that little Piano! Joe Ormonde.

I would staple their eyelids back to their foreheads, then drip battery acid onto the eyeballs.

Three laps at Millville on a Carabella with the throttle stuck wide open in 3rd. That should do it.

OK, maybe that's skirting the "cruel and unusual" threshold.

These thieves remind me of raccoons. On our property anything left outside overnight is gone or messed with by morning. Trapping and punishing raccoons has no effect. After they got into a wild Wood Duck nest, my wife had a list much like the one above on how to punish, even do away with these guys. My answer to my wife was, "They're just being raccoons." We use the phrase often now to describe to describe some people. Untrainable.

A friend wanted to set up a camera to see who was stealing things like lawnmowers from his outbuildings. I told him that all he would get is pictures of thieves and raccoons and needed to spend his money on to making things thief and raccoon proof. Sadly, that is the only answer, as they're just being thieves and raccoons.

My take on all of this. :?

The harshest punishment I can think of is to have the thief go and live with Hillary Clinton for about a month. After that, I'll bet he'd never think of stealing anything again.

Um, how about this. "So you like Hodakas huh? Here, your sentence is to lift this fully fueled Hodaka 250SL over your head once a day for 30 days. Sentence to continue until 30 lifts have been completed."

My Dad sets up live traps for raccoons. Any he caught would driven down the back roads to a section of crown land where he let them go. Perhaps the same thing could be done with the Hodaka thieves, fly them to the arctic and set them free. There's not much to steal up there.

Yikes Captain! When I recall your description of the Dirt Squirt photo shoot and how much fun that was, the Trail Whale bearing ordeal seems a fitting punishment for these losers!!

I like Brians idea of arctic release. That's what I do on pesky raccoons but I rarely travel that far. 8-)

Exactly right Clarence! If they were raised right, stealing anything would be out of the question.

Mine would involve a nail gun and a torch, although a public Caning would work also. How about doing 100 miles of road side trash pick up in a prison jumpsuit with "I'm a thief" written on it? Dye their hair Hodaka Orange maybe?
