Road Toad 100 Shop Manual ...

OK, I know there is no specific shop manual for the Road Toad 100's, at least that's what I've been told. I need to replace the kickstarter shaft oil seal this summer and I think having a shop manual would be a good idea. Which shop manual, of those available, would be the one I want to buy to be relatively similar to the Road Toad 100 engine?

I believe all the "core" motors are the same, so any manual for 100 cc motors would give the basic info you need. Motor has to come apart to change that O ring.

The early hodakas manuals were only supplements to the ace 90 manual. --------------Clarence

If you get a Wombat book it’s pretty much the same too. Slightly different placement for a few things but mostly the same. Victor

The Official Workshop Manual for the Model 94 & 95 bikes was the last workshop manual produced by PABATCO. (Wombat/Combat Wombat) No workshop manual produced by PABATCO covers the primary kickstart/oil injected engines. (But there is a LOT of backup support available here.)

And the parts list shows exploded views so you can still see how things go together and what their proximities are! I recommend the parts book as a secondary guide!

OK. Well the pats manual will show the differences between the Toad, and say, the Wombat in the shop manual. So if you have the Parts Manual & a Wombat or Ace shop manual, you’ll have everything you’ll need except How To info on reed valves and oil tanks & pumps! Victor
