Don't worry about not knowing something. Ignorance is the natural state of man. It is what we do with ourselves once we are confronted with our own ignorance that separates us from liberals.

If you can build a block plate to take the place of the reed cage, you can take the manifold out of the equation. Flat quarter inch aluminum with four holes in it, plus a gasket or some sealant. Cheap and easy since you already have a home brew leak kit anyway.

With your permission, I'm going to get that entire first paragraph tattooed on my forehead, Jack.

Um, seems like a side a trip into the weeds of un-necessary, gratuitous, personal opinion, cheap shots without redeeming Hodaka value. Tsk, tsk.

If offense was taken, check your hole card. Nothing cheap about it.

I'm just suggesting that politically barbed comments ought to go on a political discussion group. (Which this Forum is not.)

I personally thought the political jab was funny. What made it funny is that it came out of nowhere. I'm still tryino to figure out what the hell it means. The only thing I can think of is that if I was a liberal in this situation I would hypothetically want the government to fix my bike instead of me. Lol
