ace100 frame colour

Greetings, I have 1971 Ace100 frame no. A55729 .can anyone tell me correct frame color? At the moment it is black [looks factory] but under
identification plate is red

ACE 100 = red, no question about it. Wellllll . . . unless it happened to be one of the bikes produced to be sold to Nigeria wayeeee back when. But even then, the frame was first painted red, then overpainted in black in preparation to go to Nigeria (at least that is my understanding).

The color is red but I have a number of NOS painted parts that I used to match the color and to my eye it's a reddish tomato soup. Strictly Hodaka has the original color paint available.
