Zundapp Heads

Hi i have seen a few Hodaka 125's with Zundapp heads recently. Anyone have info on that conversion ? Thanks K.C.

Back when I wanted one Harry told me its not worth the effort unless you just like the looks as it doesn't cool any better then the stock super combat head, the extra horizontal fin on the stock head is a big plus

Thanks for posting that Rich. I've posted multiple times in the past about Harry's dyno testing specifically to compare engine performance between a stock head and a modified Zundapp head. The end result was that the radial head has really powerful benefits for LOOKS, but was no better than the stock, large Hodaka head for engine performance. "large", meaning the head on the model 95 and later alloy cylinder small bores - 95, 97, 98, 99, 01, 02 & 03.

Thanks for the info.... I like the look, but it sounds like it's not worth the trouble.

Kc The Minarelli head had the same bolt pattern, They do look cool. Look to see you sometime. Clarence and Jill!
