Does anyone know if the model 96 Dirt Squirt and Model 99 Road Toad use the same rear rim?
The rear rim for my Dirt Squirt restoration is badly rusted, so I am curious if the Toad rim will fit, as this will give me more "options" in a search for a decent replacement.

Rear rim: model 96 vs 99
Re: Rear rim: model 96 vs 99
Ed,
Where did you find the part number (maybe in your memory.) The part is shown in the schematic of both bikes on Paul's site, but not listed in the descriptions below (therefore it did not show up in the Compatibility Part List.) However, if you search Paul's site using the part number 929207 it shows he has it. Not that I need to know ... just curious how it got missed it in the compatibility spreadsheet.

I reached for the file cabinet to my right and dug out the Dirt Squirt and 99 Toad Illustrated Parts Lists to compare.

Re: Rear rim: model 96 vs 99
Makes me wonder how many other part numbers we missed in the Compatibility sheet. I guess we should have scanned each model's Illustrated Parts List instead of downloading all of Paul & Bill Cook's pages (they were both identical as far as missing numbers.) Oh well, maybe when I find myself with nothing to do I will tackle the job of hunting down missing numbers.
Sorry Brian for high jacking your thread.

Thanks Ed. I suspected they were the same, but I wanted confirmation.
