Dirt Squirt fork seals

Post by Zeek »

Any reason why I can't use a plain 30x40x10 oil seal for this? As in, is there anything special about a fork seal?

I think it's 30 x 40.5 x 10.5. There are lots of options. And opinions on using NOS , OEM or aftermarket parts.

Use the correct seals. It makes a big difference. Nothing worse than rebuilding forks and only getting a spongey result! ; D Victor

I might have to use the correct ones by the sounds of it.
40mm probably won't work if it's 40.5? I'll have a look at them later.
