AHRMA Vintage Views May 2016 issue

Post by rough rider »

Just got the new Vintage Views mag in the mail and it has some cool stuff in there. I enjoy reading about other vintage brands and it has nice article about the Cotton motorcycle. It shows a picture of a Cotton sales brochure and that is imported by PABATCO. Page 20 has a photo of Donna Blackburn riding a 98 Super Rat, and nice color center page advertisement of 2 Brothers National MX race and the ever expanding Preston Petty Products that offers discounts for AHRMA members. I love seeing Hodaka in these magazines! :D Richard

A friend of mine mailed me his copy of the May issue of Motor Cyclist magazine with the article about the Hodaka Super Rat! If you haven't seen it, it includes comments from Paul! Nice article! Really shows how the Super Rat was way ahead of its time! ; D Victor

If you are not attending Hodaka Days this year ( I wish we were), and you want to come to a Great Vintage Race, make your plans on coming to the AHRMA in Old Appleton, Missouri hosted by the 2Brothers VMX Racing Team. The track at Sky High MX Park has a fabulous layout in a beautiful setting with farm fields and orchards and very vintage friendly. It is located about 1 1/2 hours south of St. Louis, Missouri on Interstate 55 at mile marker 117. Our Team will be hosting a Racer's and Sponsor's Party Saturday night after trophy presentation with free food and drinks. We will have Fried Chicken, Slaw, Potatoe Salad, Baked Beans, Chips, and Ice Cream (provided by one of our local sponsors, Jackson Dairy Queen). Come over and say Hi, and see our National Championship Hodaka's.---Terry
