Shocks for '72 Wombat

Post by Brian4236 »

I need to replace the shocks on my '72 Wombat 125. The ones that were on the bike when I bought it have absolutely no give (seriously, they make for a bone-jarring, teeth-crushing ride no matter how small the bump and cannot be further adjusted). I want to replace them with as close to the original style as I can. I noticed that Paul sells shocks, but they're not chrome. Are there any other options? Thanks. --Brian

Hey Brian, Someone a while back posted that they used KSM 340 shocks for chrome replacements but I've been unable to find a source for them. :?:

Am I missing something on the SH site? I can't find any chrome shock replacements. (And I did buy a set of Progressives from Paul that are great!)

I believe it is Bill and Dan at hodaka-parts.com and Bruce at hodakaparts.com.

If you go to the site below, you get an under construction condition.

I was wrong, Bruce is not at Hodaka-Parts.com. He is at Hodakaparts.com. I have been wrong before, more than once....

Thanks for clearing this up. So Bill has the rear chrome shocks.
