OEM Fuel Line

Does anyone know if the factory OEM fuel line for 93B Rats and Ace100B+ was clear or black?

I remember only clear line, all the way back to 1971. It was smallish in diameter, and did not have a braided outer housing, just clear flexible line. All the pieces I have left are hard as a rock.

Except ... shouldn't it be 3/16" ID? Actually I can't remember for certain whether 3/16" ID or 1/4" ID is a better fit.

Measured the carb inlet. Just under 3/8". Something like 0.310", or roughly 8mm. 3/16 is less than a quarter inch.
