I managed to take the bracket from the coil on the right hand side of the picture and modified to fit on to the coil from the left hand side of the picture and i did get good spark when i gave it a crank. Would it matter if i kept that coil on there or is there a difference in the current of the coi...

Thanks for the info guys . One thing that is wierd is the there is no place to mount the coil on the left side of pick there is no or no sign of there ever being a welded on bracket of the frame. Plus the coil from the left hand side of the pic does not fit on the bracket from the right hand side of...

I have a pics below of two ignition coils and tring to figure out which coil belongs to a super rat . The one coil on the left looks like the same one that i have on my wombat but bought it a thinking it is for the super rat. I have two wombat one being a(94a) and the other wombat with combat engine. When i pulled of both magneto's one had the three coils with the copper winding around each one which has two and a plug with four wires and the other has one coil wrap in copper and the other two have no copper winding. After scraping some more i realize that the both frames are also #c. But the one that i had since 1970 has a j engine the other is a # H engine . Thought i should straighten that out . Still the one with the j engine is a combat wombat. I must have been swap before i owned it.

I have had this wombat /combat wombat? Since 1979 . The frame letter start H15#### and the engine is a J letter. To me it looks like wombat frame according to the manual and the engine looks like it is a combat wombat. Unless there was a engine swap done before 79 or did it come ordered from the fac...

Thank bullfrog i kind of figured that . The guy i got it of told me he bought it off the dealer in the 80s that way . All the wombats that i seen pics of had the pweter covers. Thanks again Ed-de

I also have two wombats(94)&(94a) the 94a has black covers with red oil dip stick . The 94 has the pweter color cover. I don't get it .
