During a couple of old tractor restos I found that a spray bottle with some kerosene in it and keep the grungy areas real wet seamed to work the best for those really dirty areas , softens the crud up makes it easier to scrap off

I did this kind of thing "back in the day" on my 1970 A , drums and cam started to wear and brakes wouldnt 'reach" took a piece of copper pipe and wrapped the pivot WaLa brakes again ! Kept a 15 year old kid going ...

yes it was , the Polaris snowmobile was along narrow gouge far as I know its still n there and running fine , buddy of mine did it and peaked in with a small light a few times its since been sold ..

Just for info I have seen and done useing JB Weld to fill gouges in cylinders , clean it good with some thinner and spread it in nice and smooth then a light hone ... know of a Polaris snowmobile cylinder done years ago its still in there

I went to the VT DMV sight and found the same form as was posted but I dont see any address ... perhaps some one whos already been sucsseful at this might post a step by step primer for those of us interested in trying this route ?

I till have the sprockets from the Ace 100 I bought new in my parts box (swapped them off for a 45 tooth) and the B+ I bought last summer stil has the originals on it ...

Ive "fixed" leaky petcocks by gently polishing the parts the goal is not to remove a lot of material ! I take them apart and use DuPont no 7 has worked 4 petcocks for me ...

I havent done a "soak test " to see how fuel resistant it is but have painted engines with DupliColor paint , the Hunter Green is real close to Merc outboard Cedarburg Green and no problems but your results may vary ... todays gas is such a toxic mix that I wouldnt bet against it

Spray Paint Interchange ?
On my B+ a prevous owner had welded a hoop brush guard on to the head light brackets .Pretty crudely done Id like to take it off and touch up the paint anybody know of a spray can color thats close ? Ive looked at the racks at a few parts stores but didnt see anything I thought looked right ...

B+ Kick Stand
Can anybody give me a Length on the kick stand for a B+ , say center of mounting bolt to base of the foot ? The one I have here seams a bit short , it measures about 10 3/4 inches ... Thanks
