Re: New Combat Wombat ready for Bad Rock 2017

I am doing carb work on a combat wombat. 28 mm.
It is driving me crazy. I am about ready to just buy a new carb. It seems like most of the carbs on E-Bay are fake Mikuni.

Re: Combat Wombat carb

I've taken the carb off, soaked it, blew it out 3 times. The bike will crank and idles OK. It does not respond to adjustments on the mixture screws and will not accelerate. I've just bought the bike and up until now, I've assumed it was the correct carburetor. I'm going take it off and check venturi...

Combat Wombat carb

I am putting together a wombat with a combat engine. This thing was pieced together and is an assemblage of mis matched parts. I can't get it to carburet smoothly. I don't have a good manual for the combat carb. I would assume it is different from the standard wombat carb. I am shopping for another ...

Re: Help..hodaka wombat wont start after rebuild

Check the plug wire. Sometimes they will fire if twisted in a way that connects the inner core way with the plug out and the internal wire will seperate when you twist the wire back to the plug when screwed in

Re: Duct Tape

OK I hate to disappoint The duct tape went on a go cart that I've been pushing around the shop with a flat tire. Its a Muskin Dune Cat from 1971. It appears to have tubeless paddle tires on back I sprayed headliner adhesive on the tire at the bubbling spot and stuck a piece of duct tape over it. It ...

Shock absorbers AND seat covers

If anybody will still talk to me after my last duck tape post! I need some advice. I need a a good source for an aftermarket set of shocks for a wombat-dirt only and reasonably priced. I also need the name of a good supplier for seat covers. The suppliers on E-Bay really run the range from good to i...
