Forum upgrade in process

Post by Makotosun »

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION - please read!

We are in the process of doing an update to the board software over the next 48 hours. The site WILL appear different as we must revert to a base template to do this. The board may also be offline for a (Hopefully) brief time.

It may also look a bit different after the upgrade as we implement upgraded extensions, template and features. The functions we have should remain unchanged, and we hope to add some new ones. Your patience is appreciated.

Gary. Can you bring back the envelopes to show threads with new unread entries? The new format makes it harder to distinguish new responses on an existing thread. Thx! :ugeek: Victor

This blue theme is the base theme which we have to have active while doing the upgrade. Once completed and things are working under the new version software, we will work on the look and feel including such details.

In case you weren't aware, you can click on the quick links above and choose unread posts to only display posts you have not read . . .

OK - we have success on the site software upgrade. For the moment we will have this kinda ugly template up while we work on the other look and feel upgrades. Everything should function as normal. If you see any issues or experience any glitches, please shoot me a message at: [email protected]

Thanks! Off to finishing up the shiny bits!

Testing out a new Template. Probably not the final, but any thoughts on this one? More readable than the other? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks.

This template looks fine, but the breadcrumbs (the location links at the top) don't work anymore.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll keep working on it. Several options out there. Looking for a more readable look.

Switching back. Need that function.
