Will a 17T 428 front sprocket fit on a model 94? Thanks DG

It appears that the 95 had a 16T #428 sprocket as an option. SH sells the 17T #420 for the Ace, so since the shifter cases are the same, I would think that a 17T #428 sprocket would fit a 94 or 94A. If I am wrong, I am sure someone here will correct me.

I have found that the 17 tooth sprockets usually cause a bit if chain drag on the housing, most often on the lower rear case screw boss. Check for clearance, especially at full suspension droop.
