Can any tell me if the o ring on the kick start shaft goes on the inside of the cases or on the out side on the right by the spring. This is on a 125 CW model 95.
Thanks I hope I just didn't put my cases back together for nothing

Uhhh, not good news... The o-ring gets lubed and inserted into the kick shaft bore prior to installing the kick shaft through the case from the inside.

Thanks for the reply, I was afraid of that, I do have another question if you have time. The o ring fits tight on the shaft but when you put the shaft into the bore the o ring does not slide into the bore is there a trick?

The o-ring gets lubed up real well and placed into the bore first. Use a small screw driver or pick to push it into its home. Then after 3rd gear is installed, the kick start assembly is put together and the shaft (lubed as well) is pushed through the bore and o-ring. Slow and easy and the shaft will pass through the o-ring.

Thanks! just seems that the o-ring is too large, After you reply I went and re-split the cases, I was 12 or so years old last time I worked on a Hodaka. Slowly its starting to come back to me with all your help, Thanks again.
