To the rescue.

Post by socalhodaka »

Ok this is a tight circle. I guy from San Diego calls Paul here at Strictly Hodaka, I have a few Hodakas I want to sell here in San Diego. Paul gives him my info and lets the guy know I might be able to help.
Here's the bikes.

Turns out from talking to the guy that this bike use to be Ron Liddle's bike from the early 70s, after checking with Ron yes. Though the B&N forks were added later and at the moment I didn't know what they were until a call from Lee Fabry the expert on these early SoCal desert bikes. So Lee is going to take this bike and bring it back to life.

Next bike

The early 69 Rat, now I know someone that has been looking for one of these. Our own Tommy Croft, I have had a couple of 1970 Rats and tried to sell him when he said he wanted a early Rat. He said I need the model I use to ride, the early one with the pie plate air cleaner. Well good news, I let Tommy know I have his bike, he is ready to restore it back to is glory days just like that B+ he restored

The last bike is a bit rough but Im sure it will be brought back in some way of parts or complete.

Great score, Kelly. It's good they'll be passed on to enthusiasts and have a second life.
