Hey all. Ive been away for a while. Was 250ED but now Im Thunderdog due to new regitration req. Last spring my 250 got knocked over in the shop.Thanks to some great advice from the forum I got the gas out and it runs again.It is very smooth and runs well but its a little too mild mannered. Id read some stuff here about getting a little more performance ie Yamaha YZ pipe 125 Hodaka cdi box and I know Paul sells oversize headgaskets to help cool it a little more. Could someone post the details of exactly what parts from what bikes I can use. Also I saw the Title search post Paul If you see this my 250 was licenced here in wa back in the day I still have the licence plate but Ive got no title and Id love to be able to ride the T dog on the street. How do I go about getting a title in Vermont ? Court house here says it was to long ago and no record found. Any info will help. Thanks and the changes to the site are awesome. Hi Thunder Dog . Are you going to Athena? If so you can check out my Dog and feel what can be done to it . I do make a billet Reed valve manifold that uses a modern V force reed valve. But besides that there is much that can be done to make it bark. If you go to my web site richstaylordporting.com you can see the reed set up on a t dog engine . Thanks Rich Ill decide on what I what I want to do for it and contact you. Do you know which mod Hodakas CDI box I can use to stop the high rpm full advance heat problem the 250s had. Thanks Dave aka Thunderdog
