Combat Wombat maiden voyage

Post by Dale »

One more Hodaka has been salvaged! I took my just finished Combat Wombat to the mountains today and what a blast. It performed very well. I built this one to ride hard and enjoy and we are off to a great start. I can not wait until I can get back out there. Here are some pictures to share.

Nice looking CW! How do you like using that new racing seat? Richard

BEAUTIFUL bike! What a cool resto, and yeah, best part is getting some ride time!
I like the black and white combo - very nice.
Thanks so much for sharing the photos...not sure what all that white stuff is in the last pic...seems early for cotton harvest :D
Laurie
P.S. That bike NEEDS some Bad Rock time...

Richard, The race seat is A+. I am 6'4" and the stock seats do not work for me. I have a custom seat that is 3 inches higher than stock that I like for regular riding, but this race seat has it beat hands down for harder riding. It is taller than stock (maybe 2"). It is pretty much flat and runs narrow up front and extends up over the tank. It allows you to slide forward with ease. This was also the first ride with this seat and I enjoyed it for 3+ hours.

Paul, Yes, smiles all day long. :D

Laurie, Bad Rock ready and no that was not cotton! After several more switchbacks I had to turn back as the drifts got too big.
