Wow..Either great luck or bad news?

I just got back from the garage working on my 98 Super Rat. The original shocks came apart and one had a bent shaft. It would not go down at the bend. I thought it was over for that shock. ...............

But, I lined up the bend and rapped it on the carpeted cement floor.

Pinch me 'cause I'm dreaming.

The shaft is perfectly straight and works very smoothly with no leaking seal...

The bad news maybe that stock Hodaka shocks bend very easily?
