What do MOST Hodaka guys use
1. Gear box

2. Clutch

Transmission and clutch are bathed in the same overall oil supply. I recommend modern motorcycle gear oils designed to work with wet clutches. Belray and Silkolene are fine choices.

Bel-Ray Gear Saver 80W is what I use.

Royal Purple Synchromax.
I had planned to blueprint the clutch, but after changing to this oil it doesn't seem to be as necessary now.
