Greetings all

I have a set of 34mm forks from an 03, and I would like to mount the front brake on the left side. I'm looking for suggestions on where would the best place be to install a cable stop, so that the cable can be run in front of the fork tube.
I'm also interested in hearing any thoughts anyone might have,on the effectiveness of mounting the backing plate "backwards" so that the cable runs behind the fork with the cam lever and stay facing the rear.

Thanks for your input

Tom

I may have miss spoke you can leave the brake backing plate on the right side but move the braking arm to the front. You can bolt or weld the cable stop to the brake plate arm that is bolted to the forks.
