Finally we are at the point that we can offer to you pre-sales meaning you can reserve your copy (copies) now at a reduced rate. We are sending out a bulk email today but wanted the folks on my forum to hear it first.

The Hardcover book will be on special for one week starting today as will the special leather bound "collectors edition" books.
The leather bound collectors books are also numbered. So to reserve a low number order early as the first to order receive the lowest numbered books. The "Collectors Edition" also are a very very limited edition and these will NOT be reproduced once they are gone. The "Collectors Edition" books also will have a special gift included from Ken and myself.

All books ordered via VMX magazine or Strictly Hodaka will be autographed by Mr. Ken Smith himself. We promise no rubber stamp deal here with us !!
I would love nothing more than Ken to yell out at Hodaka Days while signing all the books "I've got blisters on my fingers".

A huge thank you to all that made this dream possible!! We could not have done this with help from some very special friends and the talents of Ken Smith. It's almost finally here the real true story of Hodaka with never been seen before photos, blueprints, in house notes, total production numbers per model and much much more.

Wow the response has been overwhelming !!!! Thank you all for the support in the book and Hodaka. If you would like a low numbered "collectors edition" please order early. The faster you order the lower the number will be on the book!!

There was a flaw in our flat rate shipping charges if anyone did order last night we are adjusting the shipping to your advantage.

U.S. shipping per book in a flat rate padded pouch will be $ 6.50

ALL international shipments going the same way (padded flat rate pouch) will be $ 24.95

Our web host updated the shipping portion of our site last night and our previous shipment work for the books had been lost.

Again if you have ordered and ordered one book we will adjust the shipping before charging you today.

Paypal customers you will receive a partial refund from me today to compensate for the corrected shipping charges.

If you wanted to pick up your book(s) in Athena June 27th and ordered online last night and were charged shipping please contact me right away so we can refund that charge please.

Thank you all for the fantastic support !!! We are on our way now with having the book off to the printers this week I believe.

Ken Smith from VMX magazine fame is the author of this great book which tells the true story of Hodaka. Many inhouse notes, photos, production numbers etc... that have never been seen by the general public. Papers that at one time were marked "confidential" are now going to be viewed. Ken and I have this special offer to the Hodaka faithful and the time for this sale runs out Sunday.
We will still be offering the books but this special sale will be over.

We have a hardcover book (192 pages) on sale for $45.00 (pre-sale price) and have it two ways. One to be picked up and autographed by Ken at Hodaka Days or shipped to you also autographed but when I return from Hodaka Days on July 3rd.

The other book is a leatherbound, numbered very very limited edition book that will come in a jacket also. This book we plan to design just like the extremely rare leatherbound Hodaka workshop manuals. There may have only been about fifty of these original leatherbound Workshop manuals produced.
These numbered Collectors Edition books are on pre-sale special until Sunday for $ 115.00
Like the hardcover books you can pick up directly at this years Hodaka Days event or we can ship to you once we return home to Vermont. These too will be autographed by Ken Smith.
All books sold by Strictly Hodaka or VMX magazine will be autographed.

POSTED AT PAUL'S REQUEST: My friend Bill Chapman has contacted me to inform me of posts being made to order the Hodaka book by Ken Smith. Unfortunately I am full throttle at the Boston Food and Wine show. This event is for my sausage company and I cannot help at this time with book sales while we are here. If interested in ordering a book or two while the pre-sale discount is on please go to the Strictly Hodaka website and order online. Again sorry we cannot accept an order via a post on the discussion groups. The sale is over tomorrow ( Sunday ) and this discount will not be repeated.

The pre-sale book offerings were even better than Ken and I had hoped.We offered this pre-sale discount to the Hodaka faithful and this allows us to have all that invested in the books discount to secure the funds to have the books done and available in Athena this June.
