tire suggestions
Recently acquired a Wombat with Duro HF307 tires..... 3.25-19 front and 3.50-17 rear. Not sure why previous owner(s) changed from original but not wanting to change wheel size, any suggestion as to a more aggressive motocross style tire? My competition days are long gone but will be trail riding. Or, thoughts on how the Duros will work for me ?
Re: tire suggestions
The wheel sizes (19" front and 17" rear) are what came on the chrome tank Dirt Squirt. The Wombat originally came with 21" front and 18" rear.
As for tires, the 17" rear rim limits what is available as there are not many bikes that use that size rim (mostly just vintage bikes or street bikes). I did see that Dura offers a true knobby tire in 3.50x17 and 2.75 or 3.25x19 in the HF313 series. Unknown if anyone carries them.

Re: tire suggestions
I really quite like the Duro tire on the rear of my Combat Wombat (18" tire), but I haven't ridden one of their 17" rears. It seems to me that the body of the Duro tire isn't as stiff/rigid as the Cheng-Shin . . . and I like that. Better "gription" and "feel" in the wet/muddy (I think).

Re: tire suggestions
Thanks to all who responded ... I think I'm going to stick with the existing Duros for now and see how they work for me.
