Hi , hopefully may see you all soon at Hodaka days this year , the 10 years since I was there last have flown by . Would love to do some of the events this year , just wondering how at this stage . Last time I bought a 250 SL , rode the Bad Rock ride (thanks to all those members who assisted me in buying it , getting it there , then back up to Seattle for the freighter) , then managed to import it back home . It now resides in Victoria Australia , wearing vintage registration , and gets used regulary on the road , trail and occasional Vinduro . Wondering what my options are , if anyone has something interesting coming up for sale ? . Not sure on the viability of importing again after the event , as the Aussie dollar is in the gutter at the moment . If anyone has a good good 03 Wombat , or 175 ( dreaming on that one I think) they are thinking of selling please let me know , might encourage me to see if it's still possible to import .
Regards , John

Could anyone point me in the right direction please . Looking to buy something running/cheap so that I can have a ride at Hodaka Days . Ebay seems to have very little these days . Willing to buy something and take the risk of being able to resell at the swap meet . Just like some advice on where to look , whats this Craigslit thing ? Any other reliable places to look ? Bit hard knowing who to ask from over here .

Check out https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craigslist for an explanation of Craig's List.

Keep an eye on the Hodaka Fan Club Facebook page. Bikes come up for sale their fairly often.

My buddy Alan Donovan has a frame up restored Ace 100 B+ for sale in the Vancouver area. He’s in Mapleridge British Columbia. You could fly in to Vancouver, rent a truck and drive down to Hodaka Days. But it’s a full 8 hour drive. I can give you his contact info if you’re interested. I think he wants $2700 for it, which is a great price for a fully restored Ace B+. Heck! He was out riding it yesterday!!! Here is a photo!!! :ugeek: Victor

Unfortunately, Alan can’t come into the U.S. this year because he sold a bike from Canada to someone in the U.S. & somebody at Border Patrol didn’t like it. So he won’t be at Hodaka Days this year. 😢 Victor
