Hodaka weather
14 miles from glacier park and global warming isn't happening today, building ice fishing ice. 15 below but the 55 mile per hour winds have subsided. The prediction for tomorrow -32 thirty two below zero. warning do not start your hodaka without preheat. The house furnace quit last night, some water frozen, electric blankets are nice. The little hodaka shop is electric heat as is the little machine shop but they are too far from the house. with warm regards ---= Clarence

Re: Hodaka weather
The prediction rose to -51 below zero. Windblown drifted snow had filled the furnace. The furnace repairman was then a 15 year old kid that would come to my hodaka shop in 1972. '''small world'' good visit! Cold water still frozen. I like the fire place, Jill thought she should be able to use my emergency firewood on the deck, I agreed. Clarence

Re: Hodaka weather
Dang Clarence! That's purty chilly!!! The arctic air warmed up a bit before getting down here to the Athena area. We are looking at 5 right now, with -1 projected for 8AM on Saturday. Glad to hear you had wood stacked close!

Re: Hodaka weather
Luck is with us, we have had a big warming spell, good news we did not hit -51 only -33. The furnace is out again but we have the fireplace and lots of firewood. Any one with good riding weather out there?? Not complaining just sharing the good times. ---------- Clarence
Re: Hodaka weather
We just had a couple of cold fronts go through the last few days here in Florida. I had to break out a sweatshirt. It's been down into the 50's at night and only into the high 60's or low 70's during the day. If it gets much colder the iguanas are going to start falling out of the trees!
Re: Hodaka weather
Central Minnesota, 11 below now at 9AM, couple of inches of snow on the ground, but days are getting longer. Still have a lot of fire wood and plenty of good books . By the end of the week I should be able to get my combat wombat barn find on the table and start cleaning it up. Clarence nice story about your furnace guy. keep the fire going....albert
