Re: MISSING WHAT
So finally, here is a photo from the Diamond Eye track in beautiful downtown Athena. Photo is a screen grab from GoPro video of Moto 1 of the Piston Port 125 class. I'm not sure who that is in the lead, but that is MTRat (Bruce Kron) just ahead of me. That was as close as I got to him, he just kept opening up the lead to about 20 bike lengths (or more? Nah, couldn't be more could it??)

Clarence,
One of the highlights of my week was meeting your two granddaughters and watching them enjoy riding loops on my little Ace 90 dirt bike around and around the school in Athena. It was awesome. I know that Laurie took lots of pictures. I don't have any yet, but will share here when I have some.
Missed seeing you there!!!

Re: MISSING WHAT
I am glad my kids are finally hooked on Hodakas. That was very nice of you Dale! Appreciate. Clarence
Re: MISSING WHAT
Captain Eddie, that sure wasn't any 20 lengths. That guy out front with the 250 was gone. I got passed and ended up 3rd, but I do think I won my 'age group'. Great fun and a wonderful Hodaka Days this year.

Re: MISSING WHAT
Bruce, the photo shows the closest I ever was to you in that Moto - the spacing was larger at the end of the race. I was NOT "reeling you in" - dagnabit! I'll have to watch the video again. I think only one rider passed us (Grandpa Dale, I think). So that would have put Grandpa Larson on the 250 and Grandpa Dvorak ahead of us. Fun ride! Would have been funner if I could have gotten closer to pressure you a bit! Good ride!

Re: MISSING WHAT
Ed, I think the only pass I made was during the 125 Piston Port class. I believe that Mike Larson won the Grandpa class. Not sure who was 2nd. Bruce finished 3rd and has an award coming. Congrats Bruce!

DOH! Yep, I'm mixing up the "reporting". Photo is from the 125 Piston Port class . . . and I'm calling it the Grandpa Race.
