Hey Hodaka Club - apologies if this is the wrong place for this post, I'm a new member and new to the Hodaka lifestyle!

My buddies and I in Chicago have a little informal motor club where we look for interesting vintage bikes to tinker on. In February we came across a 1972 Steen Alsport project, the first Hodaka and certainly first Steen I have ever seen but I can tell you it will not be the last!

We have loved learning about the history of Hodaka and John Steen and the community these bikes have is amazing. Unfortunately we can't make the trip to Hodaka Days where we would truly love to bring the bike. Being in the city we have limited space and a growing number of projects, we want to find a good home for our blue bike.

The bike is a truly amazing running, starts every time on the first kick or two. It wasn't missing much when we got it but Bruce at Hodaka Parts Idaho was a big help in getting our bike running. I'll post a pic and a link to our site where we have the bike listed.

You need to take your sales to the Facebook Hodaka Fan Page. Selling is not allowed on the forum. You can add a link to the bike on FB.

As the Admin for this forum, let me provide the correct information regarding the selling of bikes here...

If you are looking for parts then I would recommend contacting one of the parts suppliers that deal in new and used parts. You can also put out feelers on the Hodaka Fan group page on Facebook."

Your post contains a link to your ad to sell your bike. This meets the requirements of our request. It is our goal is to keep the negotiations and any conflicts off of the forum. As long as that is met, you are good.

Victor, Just a reminder of what? Have you read the entire text of your link? That is where my quote came from and is where we currently stand on the issue.
