The lengths I’ll go to!!!

I was breaking down the Ace 90 to a bare frame today. One thing left is to take it into the garage so I can pull the steering head in a safe place with a towel to catch ball bearings. Didn’t want to do it in the gravel! Anyway, I digress!
The chain guide on this 90 was bent up around the bottom of the swing arm. To get the chain guide free, I had to pull the swing arm off the frame, place the chain guide in my vice & use the swing arm as a lever to bend the guide back around.
Once free, I had to place the chain guide in my vice and press it as flat as I could. Then hammer the piece flatter & straighter with my ball peen hammer. Finally, I spent about 20 minutes with a steel wire brush on my drill to remove all the rust, and paint it silver.
Looking for a sand blaster who doesn’t want $125-150 to sand blast a frame this small.
Here’s before & after photos! Victor
