Source for complete bike?

My first new motorcycle was a 100B+ that I bought when I was stationed in Canada in the early 70s. I had it for nearly 30 yrs until I let it go to support a Bultaco project. Big mistake! Now in my golden years I need another Hodaka to revisit my misspent youth. I've done the usual searches without success. Any suggestions on where I might find a street legal chrome tank 100 or 125? I'm in NW Fl.

I would stay tuned to Hodaka-Parts. There has been a persistent teaser regarding a used/project bike department on the HPI site. You'll get a square deal and all the support you could possibly need from them. The question is when. Whenever that is, I'm sure it'll be great.

I've bookmarked Hodaka-Parts. Is that really the only game in town? There used to be ads on this forum and the old Yahoo groups discussion group.

Give Terry a call and see what he has available. Or put up a want ad here and on FB for what your looking for. There are bikes popping up all over on a consistent basis.

I would place the want a Hodaka on the Hodaka Fan Club site that is on Facebook, run it a couple of times over lets say two or three week period, not just once, and also look to the Craig,s listed want ad,s in the Florida area. Good Luck

Calling Terry directly at Hodaka parts is a great idea. Even though the official used bike department has not launched, I'd throw some coin on Terry having a project bike or thirty he'd be willing to sell you directly. Nothing ventured, nothing gained I say.

Terry only has about 150 project bikes to start. (Only 150?!?!). But if you buy one from him I believe he’s offering project bike buyers a discount on the parts needed to finish it up! Pick a good one! :ugeek: Victor

No response from Terry so I guess he's not in the complete bike business.

Try again. Call Terry during regular call in business hours. I also have a much easier time reaching Terry via Facebook Messenger when I need to ask for something specific I can’t find on the website. He usually responds more quickly on FB Messenger, than if I email him thru the website! :ugeek: Victor

I have picked up numerous project bikes by placing ads in area market place type sites. My typical ad says "ISO old Hodaka motorcycle for restoration project. Cash paid" . A 'teaser' picture with the ad helps. I'm working on 2 100B's right now that I got in this manner. Where are you, Ammodave? I may be able to help.
