Danial, want some more just like that, Time is a Vintage bike enemy. HODAKA WORLD, TAKE NOTES, Dan is trying to point out something here. Don,t guess at it, replace it, is the quote of the day. Replace it, its cheap insurance. Bearings as well. Terry of Hodaka-parts inc has whole kits ready to go.

The seals getting hard I’m used to, but this one was actually brittle, those two conditions don’t provide a good seal and can cost you a motor if you don’t take the time to change them after a long period of non use.

Just super glue the pieces together or whatever and send it to me. I'll dress it for you with my Dremel.

Can you tell me what part# that is on a 93A SUPER RAT schematic chart ?

New to this engine...haven't split the cases yet and I'd like to learn ahead of time what to plan on replacing .

Thanks so much
john

I'm sure you have a Dremel tool, Thrown. Please don't think I was questioning the depth of your bench. It's just that...er...when it comes to some of the more, shall we say "off-label" experience in ill-advised, yet oddly ineffective applied Dremel-ogy, I'm kinda the big dog around here. Yep.
