Off on Sunday to meet a guy from Heber, AZ at the AZ/NM border on US 60! Bought a Model 94 Wombat from him for $275!!!

Tuesday Dec. 2, I’ll drive up to Laramy, Wyoming to see my Cousin, and meet a guy who’s coming down from Sheridan, WY, and bringing me a Complete Dirt Squirt and a nearly complete Ace 100! $850 for both of them! I’ll be busy for a good while!

And a fellow in Florida asked me to build him a Super Rat! Found one in Idaho for him and it’s going to be shipped down to me! Told him he could have it for $3900 restored and he sent me a 50% down payment! So I’ll be building another Super Rat! Told him I would start on it in January & be finished in early March as long as weather permits!

Taking off tomorrow with the grandsons & my son in law, their dad, to ride the bikes out in Fiablo Canyon!!!

Can you tell I really love saving these Hodakas??? :ugeek: Victor

I’m having fun restoring bikes! If others keep asking me to do bikes for them, it keeps me with something to pass my time!!! :ugeek: Victor

Well guess what?!?! The Ace 100 turned out to be an Ace 90, of very early numbering! The frame # is A1151. I’m guessing it could be a 1964? Anyway, I’ve got a 90 to play with now. Not sure what I’ll do with it yet. Evidently, the bike came out of Montana. So did the Squirt. So, onward through the fog!!!

Here’s some pics of both bikes! :ugeek: Victor.

The ace 90 would be a Christmas bike January 5th 1965 +/_ ?? Could be a 1064 does it turn over? the coil is under the flywheel. ------------- Clarence

Judging by the pictures, that appears to be the spark plug wire coming out of the cases behind the flywheel, across the back of the engine between the cylinder and head, and laying on top of the exhaust pipe. Looks like the coil is behind the flywheel.

I made a mistake in the frame number. DARN! It’s actually A11514! I’m guessing a 1966? What do you think? I’ll unload it tomorrow snd see if the piston moves at all. It was too damn cold in Laramie to do anything on it! :ugeek: Victor

I love the 90's back wheel being on backwards on what looks like an extended swing arm.

There's a magic to the way the 90s run; you just have to not be in a hurry and it all makes sense.

The bike didn’t have a rear wheel, do I brought one from home. The guys who brought the bike put it on so we could load it. I also didn’t bring a brake hub! LOL!!! It will get turned when I work on the bike. It was just to be able to roll it around. But I bet you figured that out! :ugeek: Victor
