I have scoured the manual, the tech specs, and this forum but I'm not coming up with torque specs for front and rear axle nuts, front pinch bolt and upper and lower fork clamps. I'm sure I can guess pretty close but I'm a little picky about going by the book. Any guidance?

Hodaka never listed a recommended torque spec for these fasteners, or many other fasteners such as the engine mounting bolts. They do list general torque specs for different size bolts, etc., and I would just use those values as a guide.

There are 3 different torque specs for most bolts. It depends on the size ratchet needed.
1/4” = monkey fist
3/8” = chimpanzee Fist
1/2” = gorilla fist
All kidding aside, you can use the 170 in. Lb. (2 kg. m.) as a general guide. -Victor

dirt squirt cylinder head nuts torque spec is 105 inch pounds, not 170 inch pounds.

The chart I provided is for the Model 01, not the Model 96.

OK thanks everyone. Since no specific values are listed for the fasteners I mentioned I will use the old German torque specification " gutentite ".
