Piston/cylinder specs

I can’t seem to find my 125 shop manual. Need to know what the clearances should be for a Combat Wombat cylinder and a Super Combat piston. This set is a .030 over bore. Need to know to determine whether the specs are good, OK, or time for a bore. Cylinder is currently not on the motor so it’s a good time to measure. Thanks in advance. Hope I find my books!!! :ugeek: Victor

I put the piston in the cylinder today. Got a very snug .004 gap all around the top snd a slightly not as snug .004 gap at the skirts.

Ring gap is less than .008.

But I’m having an issue with the case halves going together!

The cases fit fine without the crank in place. But put in the crank and there about a 1/4” gap up front which won’t close. Tried 2 different cranks.

Seems the crank turns fine in either case separately, but put the cases together and the crank seems to be binding! No clues on this one. Crank came out of this case. And the case was together correctly. Even had to drill out 2 screws to get them free.

So I’m not sure what to look at and could use some technical guesses. Don’t want to break an original Model 95 case!!! :ugeek: Victor

Thanks Geary! Top end looks great! Now, if I can just get the cases to go together & without binding the crank..... Alan says this motor is Haunted!!! :ugeek: Victor
