Does the small rubber O ring go in the top groove or the second one? First time for me! You can see the 2 grooves in the picture.

Man it’s hard to get in at all! First one I’ve had that was completely apart and needed all the parts replaced. HELP!!! :ugeek: Victor

Take a nice long (slow) look again. I've zoomed in and out on your photo . . . and I only see one O-ring groove. Which is a match to a counter shaft I have on the bench.

Yeah I figured that part out. Still couldn’t get the O ring in the groove. Gave up and used another control shaft with the O ring already in it! Just need to lock everything down with the circlip! But it’s dinner time! :ugeek: Victor

Grease it up. Push it down inside the shaft. Then work it into the groove with a pick. It will pop right in.

Insert the control shaft from the opposite side and use it to help level the o-ring and get it seated in the slot.

All done! But my front dowel is missing. Waiting for another to come in from Terry! Does anyone use any kind of cement when adding a missing dowel? Or is it just friction fit? :ugeek: Victor
