Is my coil good?

I had spark then nothing. I've looked over my wires down to the points and they all look "ok" to me (a rookie). I have a Ace/Rat frankenstein so I'm not sure where my coil has come from. Before I follow Socalhodaka coil repair video and cut into my coil, I thought I'd ask the experts

My reading on my primary is 2.1 ohms. My reading on my secondary is 14.69 K ohms. Are these reading OK? I've attached pictures to show you how I measured primary and secondary in case I messed up and included a picture of the coil to see if you guys can tell me what it is off of.

Thanks for your time.

coil looks like ct 90 Honda maybe. As for specs they look ok to me. Have you cleaned the points and checked the condenser?

Thanks throwchain!! - I've added a new condenser but wanted to check coil with you guys. Now that I know that the coil should be good need move down to the points and ignition primary coil.

Dale! Thanks for the link. I saw that earlier but I have no D size batteries lying around. Since we are on lock down not sure when I will pick a few up. Since you bring up the link, maybe I can get my neighbor throw a couple my way. Hopefully he can throw more than 6 feet!

Any batteries will work. Just connect them in series to get anywhere from 3 to 6 volts. It will work just fine.

I use a 6 volt lantern battery they have screw down posts to fasten the wires to. In the 60's I used a small 6 volt battery charger my method also tests the points. -------------- Clarence

I also used AA batteries and it worked! I now know I have a bad coil and/or plug wire and cap. I pulled a different coil off a parts bike and I have spark.
